Job summary

Dunbia in Sawley, near Gisburn, is seeking individuals for a Despatch Team role. The position operates from 3.15pm to 11.45pm, Monday to Friday, with on-site duties including picking, loading, and despatch. Full training will be provided, and previous food manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in food production is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Picking, scanning, lifting, loading and despatching customer orders.
• Loading/unloading inbound and outbound trailers.
• Moving pallets to correct locations and ensuring accurate scanning.
• Wrapping and labelling pallets for safe transport.
• Using the stock system to monitor levels and allocate orders.
• Processing paperwork in line with procedures.
• Liaising with Logistics, Commercial, Transport and Coldstore to ensure timely despatch.
