Job summary

Dunbia in Sawley, near Gisburn, is seeking motivated individuals to join the Despatch Team. The role is 3.15pm–11.45pm, Monday to Friday, with full-time permanent employment.

You will pick, pack, load and despatch customer orders, work with the stock system, and coordinate with Logistics and other departments. Training will be provided; previous food production experience is beneficial but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulated food production is beneficial but not essential.
• FLT licence would be an advantage.
• Willingness to follow procedures and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Picking, scanning, lifting, loading and despatching customer orders accurately and in line with daily despatch requirements.
• Loading and unloading inbound and outbound trailers safely and efficiently.
• Moving pallets and products to correct locations with accurate stock recording.
• Wrapping, labeling and securing pallets for safe transport.
• Using the internal stock system to process stock and allocate products to orders.
• Processing customer paperwork accurately and in line with procedures.
• Processing returned stock according to site procedures.
• Liaising with Logistics, Commercial, Transport and Coldstore to support timely despatch.
• Carrying out tasks in a helpful and professional manner.
• Undertaking any additional duties requested by Supervisors or Managers.
