Job summary

Dunbia is looking for full-time Despatch Operatives to support the Retail Despatch Department. You will be part of a team, but also able to work on your own initiative to maintain high levels of customer service and efficiency.

Key duties include unloading, weighing, scanning, stock rotation, order selection and loading, with a focus on accurate despatch and processing of documents. Prior food industry experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Good level of spoken and written English is essential.
• Ability to work on your own initiative whilst contributing to a team.
• Flexible approach and willingness to work additional hours to meet demand.

Responsibilities

• Unload lorries and weigh product in.
• Scan product into and back from production.
• Adhere to stock rotation procedures.
• Check yields and investigate issues at end of production.
• Scan pallets and stack products in the chill areas.
• Conduct stocktaking and select correct orders.
• Load containers and perform clerical duties related to despatch.
