Job summary

Yusen Logistics is hiring a Counterbalance Driver in Northampton (NN7 2QA) for a full-time, permanent position. The role runs Monday to Friday 2:00pm–10:00pm with some weekend work and involves operating MHE, loading/unloading, and maintaining safety and accuracy in paperwork.

You will join a team-focused warehouse environment, performing duties with a strong emphasis on health and safety, process improvement, and timely delivery of operations to support our logistics services.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience
• FLT/counterbalance licence (A2)
• Good literacy and numeracy
• Awareness of manual handling techniques
• Teamworking skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail
• Good level of written and verbal English

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trailers and handle goods to minimise damage
• Operate MHE to support day-to-day warehouse operations
• Complete relevant paperwork accurately
• Perform equipment checks and risk assessments
• Seek ways to improve processes and drive efficiency
• Communicate concerns to team leader or manager
