Job summary

Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust is recruiting an Evening Care Assistant to support registered nurses in delivering patient care at home across Leeds. You will respond to call outs between 17:00 and 22:00, visiting patients and delivering planned care as part of a rota across seven evenings per week.

We offer development support, training and supervision, and a generous annual leave package with NHS discount options; driving is required and a full driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational abilities and reliability.
• IT literacy and ability to use basic digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Nurse and respond to intervention call outs between 17:00 and 22:00.
• Visit patients to deliver planned care and work on a rota across evenings.
• Travel across the city of Leeds to deliver patient care and support home-based treatment.
