Job summary

TrustMed Pharmacy at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is seeking a GPhC-registered Pharmacist to join our friendly, high-performing team for an evening-focused role. You will work across our modern dispensaries and contribute to safe, high-quality patient care within a supportive NHS environment.

The role offers a predictable 4:00pm–8:00pm, Monday to Friday schedule with flexible working patterns to suit family commitments.

Qualifications

• GPhC-registered Pharmacist with registration.
• Ability to deliver safe, effective and high-quality pharmacy services.
• Excellent attention to detail and professional judgement.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Act as Responsible Pharmacist and oversee safe dispensing.
• Professionally screen prescriptions, ensuring they are safe and appropriate.
• Work with the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality services to patients and staff.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement and service development.
• Support training and development of apprentices and trainee staff.
• Maintain learning and HELM requirements and adhere to SOPs and policies.
