Job summary

Qualifications

• A nationally recognised pharmacy technician qualification and be registered with the GPHC.
• Currently practicing as a registered pharmacy technician with at least one year's post qualification experience.
• A nationally recognised accredited accuracy checking qualification.
• A professional attitude with the ability to motivate self and others.

Responsibilities

• Support the pharmacy dept in the provisions of complete pharmaceutical care to patients.
• Deliver a high-quality ward-based medicine optimisation service.
• Act as a role model and provide training and mentoring to junior staff members.
• Carry out accuracy checking commitments.
