Job summary

Mount Charles Group is recruiting a Cleaning Operative at ICC Waterfront in Belfast. The role covers general cleaning of offices, meeting rooms and amenities, with an emphasis on high standards and customer service.

The position is 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shift hours 18:00–22:00. Benefits include 30 days leave pro rata, a company pension, and wellbeing support. Equal opportunities employer.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Previous work experience in customer service employment.
• Basic statutory training for the role with reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to understand safety instructions and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Providing the highest level of housekeeping/Cleaning service within your area of responsibility in line with the clients’ specifications.
• Responding positively, politely and promptly to all customer requirements and carry out duties in a professional and courteous manner.
• Providing a range of general cleaning services to include offices/meeting rooms, toilets/showers and amenity areas site wide.
• Ensuring stocks are replenished in your area of responsibility.
• Ensuring regular checks of equipment used during hours of work and that equipment is clean and in good working order at shift end, reporting defects.

NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors
