Mount Charles Group is recruiting a Cleaning Operative to join our team based at Ladbrokes Twinbrook, Belfast. This role involves delivering high standards of housekeeping and cleaning across offices, meeting rooms, toilets, laboratories and amenity areas in line with client specifications.

You will contribute to a safe working environment, respond to customer needs professionally, and adhere to HACCP and health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors would be an advantage.
• Previous work experience in customer service employment.
• Basic statutory training for the role including reading, writing and listening to understand safety instructions and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Providing the highest level of housekeeping/cleaning service within your area of responsibility in line with client specifications.
• Responding promptly and politely to all customer requirements in a professional manner.
• Carrying out a range of general cleaning services including offices, meeting rooms, toilets/showers, laboratories and amenity areas site wide.
• Ensuring equipment is clean and in good working order and reporting any defects.
• Participating in the Health and Safety Policy and reporting hazards to your Line Manager.
• Complying with Health, Safety & Hygiene standards and HACCP regulations as necessary.
• Reporting defective equipment or surfaces and any health and safety issues.
• Reporting all suggestions or complaints.
