Job summary

Mount Charles Group is seeking a Cleaning Operative based at Hyster, Craigavon. The role involves assisting in food service, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering excellent customer service within a world-leading facilities management team.

The position offers part-time hours (27.5 per week) with pattern Monday to Thursday evenings and Friday afternoon, along with benefits including pension, EAP, and leave entitlement.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable passion for providing good customer service
• Excellent communication skills
• Work as part of a team to ensure service is delivered on time
• Ability to upsell offers and handle customer queries
• Knowledge of HACCP regulations
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and clothing

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, service and sales of all food and beverages for the unit
• Prepare the service counter with appropriate containers and utensils
• Provide high level of customer service to all facility users
• Work with team to ensure timely service and high standards
• Carry out cleaning duties as per the rota and instructions
• Maintain kitchen and service areas clean and tidy; assist with waste removal
• Handle cash duties as required
• Assist with moving and setting up of furniture for catering purposes
• Report any defective equipment or health and safety issues
