Job summary

Anchor Group Services is hiring two cleaners to join the site cleaning team at Percy Hedley Hub/School in Killingworth. The role is Mon-Fri, 17:00-20:00 (15 hours per week) with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour. Enhanced DBS clearance is required before starting, and a police check may be needed for periods overseas in the last 10 years.

Qualifications

• Good attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Flexibility to cover shifts as required.
• Reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work.
• Enhanced DBS clearance prior to starting.
• If you have worked or lived overseas for more than 3 months in the last 10 years, you will need to provide a police check from that country.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning designated areas to the specified standards.
• Emptying bins and ensuring proper waste disposal.
• Attend to spillages promptly to maintain safety.
• Comply with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations.
• Use site-specific equipment and handling chemicals responsibly.
• Interact with on-site clients to provide excellent customer service.
• Carry out additional reasonable management requests.
