The City of Edinburgh Council is recruiting a Flexible Cleaning Operative at James Gillespie's High School. You will join the Facilities Management team to keep school buildings clean, safe and welcoming for pupils and staff.

The post offers stable employment with above-market rates and flexible hours. Working pattern is Monday to Friday, 18:00–20:00, 10 hours per week, with pro-rata pay for part-time work and PVG/pre-employment checks where applicable.

Qualifications

• PVG Scheme check required for the role.
• Role involves cleaning across multiple buildings.

Responsabilités

• Empty litter and recycling bins across a group of buildings.
• Clean surfaces, glass, floors, furniture, fixtures.
• Clean sanitary areas and replenish washroom consumables.
• Emergency cleaning as needed (graffiti removal, spillages).
• Assist with other cleaning tasks across buildings.
