Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets and communal areas to a high standard.
• Carpet and upholstery cleaning in student, staff and public areas.
• Removal of stains, marks, graffiti and scuffs around the school site.
• Safe operation of domestic and industrial cleaning materials and equipment.
• Following Health & Safety and COSHH regulations at all times.
• Supporting the wider site team in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming school environment.

We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic, motivated and reliable. The role will include the following duties and responsibilities, along with some ad hoc tasks:

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets and communal areas to a high standard;
• Carpet and upholstery cleaning in student, staff and public areas;
• Removal of stains, marks, graffiti and scuffs around the school site;
• Cleaning specialised toilet areas in student, staff and public spaces;
• Duties to meet the requirements of the regular cleaning programmes, including moving furniture and fittings where required;
• Safe operation of domestic and industrial cleaning materials and equipment;
• Following and applying Health & Safety and COSHH regulations at all times;
• Supporting the wider site team in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming school environment.
