Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our team in a part-time role, working 16 hours over four days from 3.00pm to 7.00pm. You will serve guests, support food service operations, and maintain high standards of cleanliness.

We value genuine hospitality, teamwork, and a friendly, proactive approach. Prior catering experience and knowledge of food safety are benefits; you’ll be supported with training and development opportunities within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices desired.
• Ability to stand for long periods and stay active on shift.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Provide excellent service by being attentive to guests’ needs throughout their visit.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in catering areas and comply with health and safety guidelines.
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth operations and inclusive environment.
• Assist with a varied role including food prep, stocking, and customer service as needed.
