Job summary

Healthcare Ireland Group is seeking a Care Assistant for the Twilight shift (21:00–23:00) at Bannview House to support up to 80 residents. You will provide person-centred care, companionship, and assist with daily living while working alongside our nursing team in a welcoming, dignified environment.

The role emphasizes compassionate support, adherence to care plans, and contributing to a safe, homely atmosphere with opportunities for progression and ongoing training.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (dressing, bathing, eating, mobility).
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Encourage independence and participation in activities.
• Assist with moving and handling residents using appropriate techniques.
• Support the nursing team by monitoring residents' well-being and reporting changes.
• Follow care plans to ensure comfort and safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe, homely environment for residents.
