Healthcare Ireland Group is seeking a Care Assistant for Weavers House in Cookstown. This twilight position focuses on high-quality, person-centred care, providing emotional support and companionship while assisting with daily living activities for up to 65 residents.

You will work as part of a frontline team, supporting residents with respect and dignity, and collaborating with the nursing and healthcare team to monitor wellbeing and respond to changes in health or behaviour.

Formación

• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills with compassion to residents.
• Good standard of oral and written English.
• Respectful to residents and other team members' beliefs.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with daily living activities (dressing, bathing, eating, mobility).
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Encourage independence and participation in activities.
• Assist with moving and handling using proper techniques.
• Support nursing/healthcare team by monitoring wellbeing and reporting changes.
• Follow individual care plans to ensure comfort and safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe, homely environment.
