Job summary

Dunbia UK is seeking applicants for beef cutting and trimming roles in a fast-paced processing environment. You will perform precise cuts, adhere to weight and thickness targets, and maintain a clean, safe workspace on shift.

Full-time and part-time positions are available. Shifts run Monday to Friday from 3.15pm to 11.45pm; training and progression opportunities are provided as part of a committed team at Dunbia.

Qualifications

• Previous butchery/meat trimming experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of traditional cuts with safe operation of equipment.
• Familiar with food safety practices and regulations for all handling tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures precisely.
• Safety-conscious demeanor in all duties.
• Reliable, hardworking, and a good team player with initiative.
• Flexible approach with attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to gain new skills and experience; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Use of knives or other equipment in a safe manner, to perform beef cutting and trimming.
• Cut products within weight and thickness targets to maximize yield and quality.
• Correct use and storage of issued PPE (including chainmail and knives).
• Advise production management on raw material quality/issues or specifications.
• Build positive relationships with colleagues, Team Leaders and Managers.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety, Quality and Food Safety standards.
• Ensure understanding and compliance with Risk Assessments and SOPs.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
• Work in a chilled environment.
