Dakota Hotels is seeking an outgoing Bar & Grill Assistant to deliver exceptional service to guests. The role focuses on evening shifts and strong communication to ensure smooth service and personalized dining experiences.

You will work with bar and kitchen teams, maintain menu knowledge including allergens, and help promote a positive hospitality culture while supporting team objectives and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year working experience, ideally in a hospitality environment.
• Outgoing personality with effective communication skills.
• Ability to work at pace and be proactive for the duration of your shift.
• Willing and able to pour, serve and sell alcohol.
• Enthusiastic with a positive culture.
• Be task oriented with attention to detail.
• Flexible with shift patterns and availability.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the role of a section waiter/waitress, providing attentive table service, taking guest orders and delivering large trays of food to guest tables.
• Create a memorable dining experience through genuine conversation with personalised food and beverage recommendations.
• Work closely with the Bar and Kitchen team to ensure the effective flow of communication.
• Maintain knowledge of our menu, including allergens, to guide guests' choices.
