Job summary

NHS Resolution in Leeds is seeking Evaluation, Research and Insight Officers to support evaluation, research and insights publications. The role is hybrid or homeworking, 37.5 hours per week, with maternity cover (fixed term, 13 months) and a 0.6 FTE permanent option.

You will work with senior specialists across the Advice service and external stakeholders, delivering high-quality analysis and reports to improve services and knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Numerically literate and comfortable with descriptive statistics.
  • Excellent written communication, able to review complex documents and present clearly to diverse groups.
  • Experience organising complex project management and programme activities.
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Support multiple work areas including evaluation and research.
  • Produce insights publications and support equality, diversity and inclusion agenda.
  • Contribute to policy guidance and systems within the Advice service.
  • Engage with external stakeholders and healthcare organisations to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Participate in innovative development activities with the Advice service.

The roles are available with the following hours and contract types.

  • Full time (37.5 hours per week) maternity cover, fixed term contract for 13 months
  • 0.6 full time equivalent (22.5 hours per week), permanent contract

You will be working with a range of senior specialists across the Advice service and external stakeholders including health care organisations and national bodies.

The post holder will support a number of work areas, which may include but are not limited to:

  • Evaluation and research
  • Insights publications
  • The Advice service’s equality, diversity and inclusion agenda in respect of our service users
  • Policy, guidance and systems
  • Other key innovation and development activities with the Advice service.
What You'll Bring

You will be experienced in delivering high quality analysis and reports that have contributed to improved knowledge and the improvement of services and have worked in a similar role in, for example, the research, health, charity, or public sector.

Some Of The Essential Criteria For This Role Are
  • Numerically literate and comfortable working with and producing descriptive statistics
  • Excellent written communication skills, including experience of reviewing complex and sensitive documents (e.g. letters and reports) to a high standard, and presenting information clearly and concisely to a wide range of internal and external groups
  • Experience of organising complex project management and programme activities
  • Experience of developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
