Job summary

Arnold Clark in Falkirk is seeking a skilled mechanic to prepare customers’ cars for the road, servicing and repairing a wide range of makes and models. You will join a capable team focused on quality, safety and customer satisfaction, with training to become an EV accredited Technician and opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 and solid experience in the automotive industry.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced workshop.
• Strong communication and attention to detail, with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
• Inspect engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues using diagnostic tools.
• Repair or replace defective parts and carry out DVSA testing if authorised.
• Road test vehicles to check repairs and maintain equipment/tools.
• Complete documentation to required standards and follow checklists.
