Job summary

Pembrook Resourcing is recruiting an Automotive Technician for an Erdington dealership. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing faults, servicing vehicles, and upholding high standards.

You’ll work with current diagnostic tools and capitalise on manufacturer procedures to ensure first-time-right work. Earn a competitive salary up to £44,000 basic with potential to reach around £60,000 OTE, with ongoing training including EV and technical development opportunities in a busy dealership

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3, City & Guilds or equivalent automotive qualification.
• Experience identifying and resolving vehicle faults.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience with electric or hybrid vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle faults accurately and efficiently.
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs to a high standard.
• Use current diagnostic equipment and technical information to identify faults.
• Provide technical advice and support where required.
• Work to manufacturer and dealership standards and procedures.
• Complete work efficiently while maintaining a right-first-time approach.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of work carried out.
• Work closely with the wider workshop and Aftersales team to keep vehicles moving.
