Job summary

Pembrook Resourcing is sourcing a skilled Vehicle Technician for an established automotive dealership in Trowbridge. You will diagnose and repair faults, service and maintain vehicles to high standards, using current diagnostic equipment and manufacturer information.

The role requires an NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or City & Guilds or equivalent), a full UK driving licence, and experience in a main dealer environment. EV/hybrid training and ongoing development are provided to keep your skills up to date.

Qualifications

• Strong previous experience as an Automotive Technician.
• Proven ability to identify and resolve vehicle faults.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3, City & Guilds or equivalent automotive qualification.
• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a busy workshop.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Professional approach to quality, safety and customer service.
• Main dealership experience.
• Experience with electric or hybrid vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle faults accurately and efficiently.
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs to a high standard.
• Use current diagnostic equipment and technical information to identify faults.
• Provide technical advice and support where required.
• Work to manufacturer and dealership standards and procedures.
• Complete work efficiently while maintaining a right-first-time approach.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of work carried out.
• Work closely with the wider workshop and Aftersales team to keep vehicles moving.
