Job summary

Northgate Vehicle Hire Leicester is hiring a skilled Vehicle Technician to maintain a diverse fleet of Light Commercial Vehicles and cars. You will perform diagnostics, electrical work, clutch and gearbox repairs with a focus on safety and quality in a busy workshop environment.

The role offers a generous OTE package, overtime paid at time and a half, and a pathway to IMI Level 3 EV/Hybrid qualifications, plus a generous benefits suite and ample training support.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 or Level 2 Vehicle Technician qualification.
• Experience with diagnostics, electrics, clutches and gearboxes.
• Willingness to work on Hybrid and Electric Vehicles; IMI EV/Hybrid training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle diagnostics, electrics, clutch and gearbox work.
• Work on a fleet of LCVs and a smaller number of cars.
• Maintain quality workmanship with no upsell pressures.
• Adhere to safety and workshop processes.
