Job summary

Autotech Recruit is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a busy aftersales team in Trowbridge. The role offers long-term career development, ongoing manufacturer-led training, and strong earning potential in a professional workshop environment.

You will develop technical expertise, including electric vehicle qualifications, with opportunities for progression and benefits such as a bonus scheme and generous leave.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent required.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills essential.
• MOT Tester qualification advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
• Complete vehicle health checks and inspections.
• Undertake repairs ranging from routine servicing to complex diagnostics.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately and within allocated timescales.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through quality workmanship.
• Complete job cards and workshop documentation accurately.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support workshop productivity and performance.
