Job summary

Arnold Clark is looking for skilled mechanics to join our Cardiff team. You will service, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, using diagnostic equipment to diagnose issues and ensure high-quality work. You’ll have the chance to develop EV accreditation with supported training.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance and solid automotive experience.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a busy team.
• Good communication and attention to detail.
• Able to meet deadlines and follow instructions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
• Inspect engine and electrical systems using diagnostic equipment to diagnose issues.
• Repair or replace defective parts as required.
• Carry out DVSA vehicle testing if authorised.
• Road test vehicles after repairs to ensure quality.
• Maintain tools and equipment and keep logs/documentation up to date.
