Job summary

Stoneacre Motor Group is recruiting a Diagnostic/MOT Motor Vehicle Technician to perform MOT testing, servicing and repairs on a wide range of vehicles. You will diagnose faults, complete quality write-ups for customers and manufacturers, and ensure standards are met on every job.

The role requires Level 2 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and an MOT Testers Licence, with training available for EV/heavy training.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 NVQ or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Must hold an MOT Testers Licence.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT testing, service, repair and maintenance on various vehicles.
• Diagnose faults and advise on servicing/repair requirements.
• Replace components, parts, lubricants and consumables as needed with accurate write-ups.
