Stoneacre is seeking a MOT Motor Vehicle Technician to handle MOT testing, servicing and repair work for a diverse range of vehicles. The role offers a clear path toward Senior and Master Technician status with comprehensive manufacturer training and an EV-focused development plan.

You will work in a state-of-the-art workshop and benefit from in-house and manufacturer training, supporting your career growth within Stoneacre’s EV leadership and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have experience in the automotive sector in a technical role.
• Qualified to Level 2 NVQ or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• MOT Tester Licence required or to be obtained if training is provided.
• Good communication skills and ability to perform under pressure.
• Electric/Hybrid vehicle qualification is advantageous but not essential; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT testing, servicing, repair and maintenance activities.
• Work on a diverse range of vehicles and models to high standards.
• Follow franchise and company standards in a service environment.
• Maintain records and provide quality write-ups for customers and manufacturers.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and guidelines.
• Report faults and advise on servicing requirements via Vehicle Health Check.
