Stoneacre Motor Group is recruiting a Diagnostic/MOT Motor Vehicle Technician in the UK. The role covers MOT testing, servicing, repairs and maintenance across a diverse range of vehicles, with ownership of each job and a commitment to high standards.

The position offers in-house and manufacturer training with a clear path to Senior and Master Technician status, plus a competitive salary, bonuses and benefits within a fast-growing, industry-leading workshop.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive sector in a technical role.
• Qualified to Level 2 NVQ or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and hold an MOT Testers Licence.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Electric/Hybrid vehicle qualification advantageous but full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Undertake MOT testing, service, repair and maintenance work on customers' vehicles.
• Repair vehicles, diagnose faults and carry out necessary replacements.
• Work to franchise and manufacturer standards within scheduled times.
• Keep records and provide quality write-ups for customers and manufacturers.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in line with health and safety standards.
• Support vehicle health checks and diagnose faults via standard processes.
