Equans is looking for a Project Manager - EV Charge point

Join our team working from home with some additional national travel. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary, a company vehicle or allowance, bonus, and benefits package.

The Project Manager will ensure the safe and profitable delivery of public and workplace EV charging infrastructure through subcontractors, EV Chargepoint manufacturers, and supply chain partners.

They will support the design and installation of electric vehicle charging equipment for commercial and public sector clients across the UK, delivering results in a safe and responsible manner.

What will you deliver?

• Monitor health and safety of the team and subcontractors, ensuring full compliance with Equans Management System
• Ensure compliance with CDM regulations through Equans Management System
• Meet clients and support or carry out technical surveys on proposed installation locations or identify key deployment sites
• Support liaising with ICP/DNOs, back-end system design, electrical design, and equipment specifications
• Manage costs and reconcile through PO/Invoice procedures, ensuring projects are on time and within budget
• Resolve problems quickly and effectively on-site
• Build strong relationships with clients and contractor account managers
• Handle project planning, client liaison, and management of site operatives
• Support installation crews and manage their activities

Who are we looking for?

• Experience with EV civils works and street works permitting
• Health and Safety management experience, including CDM projects
• Understanding of EV electrical utility networks
• Experience in EV charging equipment design and installation
• Electrical qualifications such as 18th Edition, City & Guilds, or equivalent
• Project management from inception to completion
• Ability to build relationships with subcontractors and internal teams
