Job summary

The Vella Group is seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our expanding team in Knowsley, Liverpool. You will dismantle and reassemble mechanical, electrical, and trim components with precision, and perform four-wheel alignment checks using manufacturer-recommended methods.

Experience in accident repair, a full UK driving licence, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship are essential. EV knowledge is a plus in our fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• IMI/ATA MET Technician qualification (or equivalent experience in a Bodyshop environment).
• Proven experience in accident repair and vehicle rebuilds.
• Full UK driving licence (required).
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Knowledge and/or experience working with electric vehicles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle and reassemble mechanical, electrical, and trim components with precision.
• Perform four-wheel alignment checks using manufacturer-recommended methods.
• Protect vehicles throughout the repair process.
• Collaborate with Technicians, Vehicle Damage Assessors, and Production teams.
• Work with electric vehicles and emerging vehicle technologies.
• Adhere to health and safety standards, including COSHH requirements.
