Ground Control in Ipswich is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee civils and EV infrastructure works on a major national contract. You will lead civils gangs and subcontractors, manage labour and resources, and ensure compliance with RAMS, permits and safety procedures on site.

The role requires strong leadership, practical problem-solving and a proactive approach to delivering quality on schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising civils, groundworks, or infrastructure works.
• CSCS certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of RAMS, permits, and safe working procedures.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage priorities.
• Confident communication and proactive, solution-focused approach.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate civils gangs, operatives and subcontractors, allocating tasks and resources.
• Maintain high safety standards, delivering site briefings and reporting hazards and near misses.
• Monitor progress and quality, inspecting works to meet deadlines and specifications.
• Resolve day-to-day site challenges and escalate concerns when needed.
• Maintain accurate site records and reports using Microsoft Office and Safety Culture.
• Build strong relationships with the Project Manager, subcontractors and stakeholders.
