Job summary

Advance Training & Recruitment Services is seeking a hands-on Civils Site Manager to lead EV charging hub installations from mobilisation through to completion. You will manage a workforce on-site, coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery, and maintain effective client communications.

The role requires a strong civils/groundworks background, NEC or equivalent contract familiarity, and a track record of site leadership across infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Gold CSCS Card essential.
• SMSTS certification essential.
• First Aid training (minimum 3 days).
• Temporary Works Supervisor qualification.
• NRSWA Supervisor / Lantra 12D.
• SEATS qualification.
• HNC/HND/Degree in Construction (preferred).
• Full clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Overall management of EV charging hub installation projects.
• Health & Safety, RAMS, toolbox talks and site inspections.
• Managing programme, labour, plant and materials.
• Supervising subcontractors and ensuring quality standards.
• Client communication and progress reporting.
• Managing variations, site records and documentation.
• Ensuring works are delivered to drawings, specifications and programme.
• Environmental and quality compliance.
• Supporting project handover, O&M manuals and as-built information.
