Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is seeking a Project Manager to lead the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure projects within the Transport Projects & Programmes team. You will oversee governance, reporting, financial monitoring and risk management to ensure schemes are delivered on time, to quality and cost, with a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• A degree in an appropriate subject or equivalent.
• Qualification (e.g. BTEC Higher in Civil Engineering) plus demonstrable experience or demonstrable experience commensurate with the role.
• Experience of working in a Highway engineering setting (design, management, maintenance or administration).
• Experience of maintaining effective partnerships and working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including statutory, voluntary, private agencies and communities.
• Experience of working to tight timescales to deliver projects and/or programmes on time, to quality and cost.
• Good understanding of Prince2 Project Management principles.
• Excellent communication, presentation and report writing skills.
• Customer-focused approach where the customer experience is central.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the project management of EV infrastructure projects and programmes, including governance and reporting.
• Oversee financial monitoring and risk management to ensure delivery on time, to quality and cost.
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
