Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of Electric Vehicle Infrastructure projects and programmes. You will oversee governance, reporting, financial monitoring, and risk management to ensure on-time delivery within cost and quality targets.

The role requires a degree or equivalent and experience in highway projects, with strong stakeholder engagement and Prince2 knowledge. Flexible working options may be discussed; site visits are expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in an appropriate subject or qualification.
• Experience in highway engineering design, management, maintenance or administrative processes.
• Experience building partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience delivering projects to tight timescales within cost and quality targets.
• Good understanding of Prince2 project management principles.
• Excellent communication, presentation and report writing skills.
• A customer-focused approach and commitment to inclusive services.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management of EV infrastructure projects and programmes, including governance and reporting.
• Monitor finances and manage risk to ensure schemes are delivered on time and within cost.
• Undertake site visits as required.
