Job summary

VIQU Ltd. is recruiting an Embedded Software Engineer to develop production-intent software for an electric vehicle platform.

You will work with MATLAB/Simulink and Embedded C/C++, turning stakeholder requirements into vehicle functionality, and performing model-based development, verification and vehicle testing. This hands-on role spans model-based design, software integration, calibration and testing, plus involvement in functional safety and cybersecurity analyses, with a focus on delivering

Qualifications

Around five or more years of commercial Embedded software development experience.
Experience delivering production-quality Embedded software and control systems.
Strong MATLAB/Simulink or comparable model-based development experience.

Responsibilities

Develop Embedded control software for an electric vehicle application.
Use MATLAB/Simulink and model-based development techniques to implement vehicle functionality.
Translate stakeholder requirements into production-quality Embedded software.
Integrate software into a new vehicle platform and support production deployment.
Use software verification tools to assess code coverage and software structure.
Implement and execute tests that demonstrate compliance with defined requirements.
Support model-in-the-loop, software-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop and vehicle testing.
Assist with vehicle commissioning, calibration and debugging.
Contribute to functional safety and cybersecurity analysis, implementation and testing.
Work with the wider engineering team to meet tight, project-driven deadlines.
