Job summary

Evera Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive embedded software for next-generation electric vehicle systems, from concept through integration, validation and production. You will work across multidisciplinary teams to shape software architecture, implement control functions for powertrain and battery management, and ensure rigorous testing across MIL/SIL/HIL environments.

The role requires a degree in a relevant engineering discipline and strong experience in Embedded C,

Qualifications

Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
Extensive embedded software experience in automotive or electric vehicle sectors.
Strong Embedded C programming experience.
Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and Model-Based Design.
Experience delivering production software for vehicle control systems.
Knowledge of CAN and automotive communication protocols.
Experience with MIL/SIL/HIL validation and calibration.
Understanding of real-time embedded systems and software architecture.

Responsibilities

Develop embedded application software for EV systems using Embedded C and Model-Based Design.
Design, implement and validate vehicle control functions including powertrain, battery, thermal and energy management.
Develop software using MATLAB/Simulink and Embedded C for production ECUs.
Collaborate with systems, electronics and controls engineers to define software architecture and system behaviour.
Support software integration, commissioning, calibration and vehicle testing activities.
Participate in requirements capture, software design, implementation, verification and validation throughout the lifecycle.
