Job summary

RTL Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee a major EV charging infrastructure project on a commercial site in the UK. You will manage day-to-day site operations, supervise electrical teams, and ensure work is carried out safely and in line with current regulations.

The role involves coordinating subcontractors, liaising with clients, and driving project delivery to meet deadlines while applying BS 7671 standards and health and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Valid SMSTS certification (essential)
• Strong electrical background (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• ECS/CSCS card
• Knowledge of BS 7671 and UK safety regulations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation of EV charging systems, cabling, and distribution equipment
• Manage site teams and subcontractors effectively
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and company procedures
• Conduct risk assessments, toolbox talks, and site inspections
• Monitor progress and report to senior project stakeholders
