Job summary

Marmion is seeking a hands-on Electrical Technician to join a fast-growing EV charging infrastructure business delivering critical charging solutions across the UK. You will diagnose faults, commission and configure, perform maintenance and repairs, and provide on-site support while travelling in the Greater London and M25 corridor.

You will work with test equipment, hold a Level 3 Electro-technical qualification, and have 2+ years’ field experience.

Qualifications

• Level 3 electro-technical qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent).
• At least 2 years’ experience in field-based electrical installation/maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability with independent field work.
• Good communication with internal teams and customers.
• Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel, occasional overnight stays.
• Experience in EV charging/renewable energy is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve electrical and system faults on EV charging equipment.
• Commission, configure and perform firmware updates where required.
• Conduct planned maintenance and reactive repairs to maximise uptime.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure work is accurate and timely.
• Provide on-site technical support and clear customer updates.
• Ensure reporting and safety standards compliance.
