Job summary

Pod in Greater London is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of high‑power DC charging depot projects. You will be responsible for managing contracts, budgets, and ensuring stakeholder alignment in the rapidly evolving EV infrastructure space.

Successful candidates will have over 3 years of project delivery experience and strong technical expertise in high-power DC technologies. The role offers a flexible hybrid working model, up to 25 days of holiday, and additional benefits, including a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project delivery experience in high‑power DC charging depots, utility‑scale renewables or heavy electrical infrastructure.
• Hands‑on experience managing NEC contracts.
• Strong technical understanding of high‑power DC charging technology (150kW–400kW+).
• Familiarity with DNO processes and power connections.
• Good understanding of CDM regulations and HSE site safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Own End‑to‑End Project Delivery of DC charging depot infrastructure.
• Manage NEC short‑form contracts and compensation events.
• Coordinate grid connections and manage applications.
• Lead civil contractors and electrical installers.
• Manage budgets, procurement, and forecasting.
• Champion HSE best practices and compliance.
• Maintain stakeholder alignment and solve issues quickly.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.

Skills

Project delivery experience in high‑power DC charging depots

Technical understanding of high‑power DC charging technology

Familiarity with DNO processes

Formal project-management certification

Understanding of CDM regulations

Commercial acumen

Full UK driving licence

Education
