Q1 Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to advance EV battery pack development. You will design enclosures, structures, cooling systems, and integration interfaces using CATIA.

You will create 3D models, assemblies, BOMs, and drawings, participate in DFMEA, DVP&R, and design reviews, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure manufacturability and quality. This role requires GD&T proficiency, knowledge of HV safety, and experience launching

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical/automotive engineering.
• 5+ years in automotive design engineering, EV battery packs.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal, castings, extrusions, plastics and structural design.
• Experience with GD&T, DFMEA, DVP&R, BOM management and release processes.
• Ability to interpret CAE and test results for design optimization.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.
• Experience with EV OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop battery pack components and enclosures.
• Create 3D CAD models, assemblies, drawings, and BOMs.
• Support packaging studies for vehicle integration and safety.
• Define and manage interfaces and packaging constraints.
• Develop designs from concept to production release.
• Apply GD&T and engineering standards in design.
• Support DFMEA, DVP&R, reviews and change management.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure DFM/DFA compliance and automotive standards.
• Support CAE/validation activities including testing.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for deliverables.
• Support prototypes and production launches.
