Job summary

Alan Day Motor Group in London/BYD network is offering an EV Apprentice role delivered through GTG Training. You will work full time in a garage workshop, gaining hands-on experience while completing a Level 2 Autocare Technician Apprenticeship, with progression onto the Level 3 motor vehicle technician standard.

This is an earn-while-you-learn opportunity with mentoring from experienced technicians and a clear pathway into a long-term career in the growing EV sector.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at level 4 or above.
• Willingness to learn in a practical workshop.
• Interest in cars and electric vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Learn all aspects of vehicle repair and maintenance in a garage workshop.
• Assist with servicing, MOT preparation, removal, replacement and rebuild of major components.
• Develop skills in EV technology diagnostics and safety practices.
