Job summary

Stoneacre Motor Group is seeking an enthusiastic EV Technician Apprentice to join its BYD dealership team in Wrexham. You will learn to service, repair and maintain cars, including electric and hybrid vehicles, while earning a wage and gaining hands-on experience in a modern workshop.

You’ll complete a Level 2 Autocare Technician Apprenticeship, with the opportunity to progress to a Level 3 Motor Vehicle Technician qualification, supported by experienced mentors from GTG and the workplace.

Qualifications

• Interest in cars, technology and EVs required.
• Motivation to learn in a fast-evolving EV environment.
• Dedication to teamwork and safe workshop practices.

You’ll work alongside experienced technicians in a modern workshop, learning how to service, repair and maintain cars, including electric and hybrid vehicles. As part of the role, you’ll complete a Level 2 Autocare Technician Apprenticeship, with the opportunity to progress to a Level 3 Motor Vehicle Technician qualification.

What You’ll Learn

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (40 hours per week)

What We’re Looking For

• GCSE Grade 4/C or above in Maths and English
• Interest in cars, technology and EVs
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
