GBA Logistics, Seaham, is seeking a European logistics specialist (Road Freight Forwarder) to manage end-to-end road freight operations across the UK and Europe. The role is based in Seaham and requires coordinating bookings, transport, and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven background in customer service or account management.
• Experience in European logistics and freight forwarding.
• Solid understanding of EU customs regulations and requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build lasting relationships.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work across multiple IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide logistical solutions via road for GBA customers, handling bookings through full life cycle.
• Upsell opportunities by understanding GBA core strengths.
• Support and maintain customer accounts, developing and retaining clients.
• Maintain professional communication with stakeholders.
• Develop and report on customer KPIs, forecasts and budgets.
• Arrange and participate in customer meetings.
