Job summary

Phillips Medisize, a Molex company, seeks a Senior Director of Business Development for Europe to lead profitable growth across the region from its Cambridge, UK base. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on deal making, uniting cross-border teams and aligning opportunities with global capabilities.

You will shape a unified European commercial strategy, develop a high-performing regional team, and personally originate, shape, advance, and close selected opportunities.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive business development, strategic account management, or commercial leadership experience in regulated life sciences or related industries.
• Five+ years of direct people leadership experience across countries or cultures.
• Experience growing complex accounts and winning new business in contract design, development, and manufacturing environments.
• Fluent English communication skills and willingness to travel across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Lead European commercial strategy and manage a regional team across multiple European markets.
• Act as hands-on contributor for selected strategic accounts, originating opportunities and guiding them to award.
• Build and manage a personal pipeline with clear next actions, value, timing, probability, and plans.
• Collaborate with Marketing, R&D, Operations, Quality, and Finance to create differentiated growth plays.
