Qualifications

• Strong background in coordinating transport or freight movements.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Confident decision-maker.
• Experience in freight forwarding operations or transport planning.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate freight movements from booking through to delivery.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers, providing clear instructions and updates.
• Negotiate rates to secure cost-effective transport solutions.
• Process customer orders accurately through the operating system.
• Prepare customs documentation for shipments moving to and from Europe.
• Resolve transport issues and respond to changing requirements.
• Build strong customer relationships through regular telephone contact.
• Identify opportunities to improve margins and develop existing business.
