Job summary

Honda Motor Europe Ltd. is seeking a qualified finance professional to support FP&A and financial control across European operations. The role focuses on month end, IFRS compliance, data quality, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with Shared Service teams, contribute to budgeting and forecasting, and drive standardisation initiatives while maintaining accurate books for the GBH1 entity within Honda Europe.

Qualifications

• Recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience within a financial control environment.
• Sound knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
• Experience of managing activities delivered through a finance shared service provider.
• Experience of audit, risk management and compliance activities.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Experience of working in a European or multi-cultural environment.
• Experience of process standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience with Trintech Cadency, Hyperion, SAP S/4HANA and/or BOFC.

Responsibilities

• Manage month end timetables and deadlines, ensuring accuracy.
• Provide expert input to FP&A month end reports and analyses.
• Collaborate with Shared Service Centre teams to ensure timely inputs.
• Drive data quality improvements and govern financial data integrity.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation activities.
• Ensure adherence to SOx and governance frameworks.
