Centrica is seeking a commercially driven Environmental Certificates Trader to join our trading team in London. The role focuses on GoOs, REGOs and ROCs, combining market analysis with trade execution, counterparty relationship management and opportunity spotting across European energy markets.

The position involves office-based work in central London with several travel requirements to Centrica Energy offices and partners.

Formación

Experience in voluntary carbon markets (VERs) and environmental certificates.
Experience in trading and running a trading book.
Understanding of European and UK renewable energy regulations and compliance.
Familiarity with certificate registries, trading platforms, and OTC processes.

Responsabilidades

Support execution of physical and OTC transactions in GoOs, REGOs, ROCs, and related certificates.
Monitor market prices, liquidity, regulatory developments and supply-demand factors.
Identify trading opportunities including cross-market/arbitrage across vintages and regions.
Develop and maintain relationships with utilities, generators, brokers, and other participants.
Assist in expanding counterparties and trading desk network; gradually manage positions within risk limits.
Explore opportunities in adjacent environmental markets, including voluntary carbon credits.
