Job summary

Marc Daniels is recruiting an experienced European Credit Manager to join an international business in Basingstoke on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. The role leads the European Credit function across multiple markets and drives cash collection and working capital improvements.

The successful candidate will oversee a multi-country team, implement robust credit policies and collaborate with Finance, Sales and Customer Service to balance financial control with a commercial approach.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within Credit Management / Credit Control at a senior level.
• Previous responsibility for leading a sizeable or geographically diverse team.
• Experience working across multiple European markets.
• Strong knowledge of credit risk, cash collection, DSO and working capital.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• A commercial mindset with the confidence to challenge and make decisions.
• Strong Excel skills; Oracle experience would be advantageous.
• ICM qualification would be beneficial but is not essential.

This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for the European Credit function, leading and developing a multi-country team while driving cash collection, improving working capital and managing credit risk across the region.
