Job summary

Ellwood Atfield is partnering with a global payments technology leader to recruit a Senior Director, Corporate Communications for Europe. Based in Central London, you will shape corporate narrative, lead media relations, and advise senior leaders across multiple European markets.

You will manage a small team, oversee agencies and budgets, and coordinate with Government Affairs, Risk and Legal teams to protect and enhance the organisation's reputation in a fast-moving, highly regulated sector.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in corporate communications, public affairs, and issues management.
• Experience in payments/fintech or regulated industries.
• Proven ability to advise senior executives in high-stakes situations.
• Ability to lead communications across multiple European markets.
• Excellent writing and storytelling skills for complex issues.
• Ability to lead at pace in fast-moving environments.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated communications programmes to support business priorities.
• Oversee corporate media, external relations, and reputation strategy for Europe.
