Job summary

Ryanair Group Holdings is recruiting a People Manager to join the Inflight Team across Europe. The role oversees day‑to‑day management of inflight staff from multiple bases, with travel across bases and responsibilities in Operations and Sales.

The successful candidate will bring strong people leadership, drive base performance, and contribute to profitability while upholding customer service and grooming standards.

Qualifications

  • Ability to write weekly inflight reports and other administrative reports/letters/spreadsheets.
  • Ability to work in a pressurised environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills.

  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change quickly.
  • Previous management/supervisory experience is desirable.

Job Description

Ryanair are currently recruiting aPeople Managerto join the Inflight Team of Europe's Largest Airline Group!

This is an excellent time to join as we look to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300m guests per year within the next 8 years,

Reporting to the Regional Head of Inflight, the successful candidate also know as an 'European Bases Manager' will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day management of Inflight staff across several European bases. This is an exciting role with functions in both Operations and Sales. The ideal candidate should have strong people management skills and the motivation to help develop the business in key European markets.

This role can be based in either Manchester, Edinburgh or Dublin

Job Description (includes but not limited to)
  • Manage crew punctuality and attendance across Ryanair bases.
  • Extensive travel to Ryanair bases
  • Responsibility for the on time reporting for duty of all cabin crew.

  • Successfully manage and contribute to the profitability by increasing the volume of products that are sold within each onboard sales category, and improving the Average Spend by base.
  • Achieve category goals, assisting and taking charge of the strategy, by managing underperforming routes and bases.
  • Have excellent ability to implement sales strategy and measure results, and be able to make decision and make a difference.
  • Work with other Inflight Managers and Personnel on staffing, contracts and disciplinary issues.
  • Maintain Customer Service and Grooming Standards.

  • Ensure best practice is carried out and handle any issues/problems that may arise.
  • Responsibility for keeping inflight costs down.
